Working within educational publishing develops the skill of editorial-led design. The success of a resource whether delivered in a book, on a screen or projected onto an interactive whiteboard boils down to the collaboration between editor and designer. I thrive on working in this way and try to draw on the expertise and experience that each of my clients brings to a project.
With editorial content at the heart of the resource, design is approached with diligence in the understanding of the subject. The aesthetic aspect is secondary to the need for clarity and intuitiveness in presenting such large amounts of information.
